Problem:
Heat Exchanger had failed, hot water was leaking from the flange. Capitol budget had this unit costing the plant over $500,000 to replace. The heat exchanger is still in service 6 years after the project was completed saving the plant a tremendous amount of money.
Solution:
Belzona Technology Northwest recommended 1511 to fill the flange with a HT Paste Grade epoxy. Then we wrapped the flange with Superwrap utilizing the High Temperature 1983 Resin.
